Why choose this steering wheel tray
Sales reps, contractors, delivery drivers, rideshare drivers: for a lot of people the car is both office and lunchroom. The trouble is that a car has no table, and between the seat and the wheel your coffee ends up on the upholstery sooner or later. A steering wheel desk fixes that simply: a stable surface right in front of you that goes on and comes off in seconds.
This tray has two sides, so you don't need one for eating and another for working: one side has the cup holder and tablet stand, the other a smooth surface for writing by hand. And it doesn't slide around the cabin when you're not using it. Tucked between the seat and the console, it becomes a catch-all for the small stuff that usually falls into that gap.
It's just as handy on long road-trip breaks, waiting in the school pickup line or at a rest stop. Just one rule, always: use it only when the car is parked with the engine off.
Lunch, tablet and notes in your car, on a steady surface
If you spend your day driving between job sites or clients, you know the routine: lunch on your lap, coffee balanced on the dash, paperwork propped against the wheel. This steering wheel tray hooks onto the wheel while you're parked and gives you a 37 × 27.7 cm (14.6 × 10.9 in) surface with a cup holder and a slot for your tablet or phone. Flip it over and it's a smooth writing desk. When you're done, slide it in next to your seat and it works as a storage caddy.
The benefits at a glance
-
A 14.6 × 10.9 in surface
Big enough for a takeout meal, a tablet or an open notebook, with a raised edge that keeps things from sliding off. -
Built-in cup holder
A round recess holds your coffee cup or a can steady, so you're not gripping it or wedging it by the shifter. -
Tablet and phone slot
Your tablet stands upright in its groove: catch a show on your lunch break or join a video call hands-free. -
Two sides: table and desk
One side has the cup holder and slot; the other is a smooth, flat surface for writing or signing paperwork. -
Hooks on with no tools
It slips onto the steering wheel and comes off by hand in seconds. -
2-in-1: seat-gap organizer
When you're not using it, slide it into the gap between the seat and the center console: the edge becomes a caddy for your wallet, phone and papers.
