  • Speed unit: every version shows speed in km/h; there is no mph version.
How to install
  1. Pick a spot on the dash in front of you that doesn't block your view of the road.
  2. Wipe the dash clean, lay down the non-slip pad and set the display on it.
  3. If you want to see the digits reflected in the glass, apply the reflective film to the windshield above the display.
  4. Plug the USB cable into a USB port in the car or a 12V USB adapter.
  5. Start the car and wait for the display to lock onto the GPS signal; your speed then appears on its own.
Why choose this GPS head-up display

A head-up display puts the number right where you're already looking, just below the windshield, so you can check your speed without taking your eyes off the road. That's handy anywhere speed limits change fast: school zones, construction zones, small towns on a highway.

Unlike displays that plug into the OBD port, this one works on GPS alone. It doesn't read or change anything in your car's electronics, so it also works in older cars, EVs and vehicles without a diagnostic port, and you can move it to another car in seconds. The dual GPS + BeiDou chip at 10 Hz gives a quick, steady reading, and satellite speed is often closer to your true speed than a factory speedometer.

Be aware that it reads in kilometers per hour. It makes the most sense if you drive in Canada or Europe, if you're used to metric, or if you drive an import or classic with a km/h speedometer and want a matching, readable display. If you need mph, this model isn't the right fit.

Your speed at eye level, no glancing down

Every look at the speedometer is a look away from the road, and in a lot of cars the numbers are small or hidden behind the steering wheel. This GPS head-up display sits on your dash and shows your speed in large, bright digits that also reflect in the windshield. Please note: this version shows speed in km/h, not mph. It runs on a dual GPS and BeiDou chip that refreshes 10 times per second, takes power from USB and never touches the OBD port, so it works in any car: gas, diesel, hybrid or electric.

The benefits at a glance

  • Big digits, day and night
The LED display has numbers almost an inch tall and a built-in hood that blocks glare, so a quick glance is all it takes, even in bright sun.
  • Dual GPS + BeiDou chip at 10 Hz
Speed updates 10 times per second and keeps up with every acceleration and stop, with no lag.
  • Just a USB port
Plug the included USB cable into a USB port or a 12V USB adapter.
  • Turns on and off with the car
When the USB port gets power the display switches on by itself, and it goes off when you shut the car off.
  • Works in any car
Speed comes from satellites, not the car's electronics: gas, diesel, hybrid or EV, new or classic.
  • Small and low-profile
3.6 × 1.7 × 0.5 in and about 3.9 oz. The included non-slip pad keeps it in place on the dash.
